What was special about the shot was its exquisite timing, his balance and the classy follow through, reminding everyone of the good old days of Sachin Tendulkar when the Master Blaster used to bamboozle oppositions with his trademark stroke.
Kohli broke many records today, primarily becoming the first batsman in Test history to score four doubles centuries in consecutive matches, breaking the record previously set by Don Bradman and Rahul Dravid.
He also overcame Virender Sehwag's feat of 1105 Test runs in a single home season in India's history.
