Apple Is Selling Wheels For Mac Pro At Approx Rs 54,000 And People Are Shocked
Apple unveiled a new set of wheels and feet for its Mac Pro. The two kits retailing for $699 and $299 respectively. A similar price tag is carried by the OnePlus 8 launched only a night before the Apple event.
At its launch event conducted by Apple to showcase its new budget iPhone iteration - the iPhone SE, the Cupertino tech giant also unveiled a new set of wheels and feet for its Mac Pro.
Before you set out to order some for your own system, know that these pair of handy alterations to your Mac Pro come at a cost of $699 and $299 respectively.

Let us try to have a perspective of the prices mentioned here. Focussing on the price of Mac Pro wheels, know that a similar price tag is carried by the OnePlus 8 launched only a night before the Apple event.
Within Apple¡¯s portfolio, you can get an iPhone 11 at the very same price. Or if you feel particularly adventurous, you can actually get a new set of wheels for your car at that price!
That is the price for the users who bought a Mac Pro with feet but now want wheels to move it around or vice versa. The thing to note here is that the two kits come at a much higher cost to those who buy them separately to the Mac Pro.
The set of feet are usually included in the price of the Mac Pro. In the case wherein buyers opt for the wheels at the time of buying, the set costs $400 at the time of purchase.

The increased cost might not be the only expense that the users have to make to get their Mac Pro wheeled. Apple notes that it provides a 1/4-inch to 4mm hex bit but additional tools are necessary for the installation. There is no indication to what these tools are and chances are that they might cost extra.
In essence, the Apple Mac Pro Feet Kit retailing for $299 consists of four stainless steel feet, whereas the new Apple Mac Pro Wheels Kit comes with four such fittings that cost $699. Both kits come with installation guides, Apple has already started the deliveries in the US.

While there is no doubt on their practicality, someone should probably remind Apple of the ongoing health crisis on this planet. The resulting chain of reactions has led many to lose their jobs, businesses to shut and entire industries come to a standstill. Within the US, more than 16 million people have filed for jobless claims.
