Apple Testing 9 New Macs Running On Unreleased M2 Chipset: Here¡¯s What To Expect
Apple is also testing new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook models with 64GB of memory powered by M2 Pro as well as M2 Max chips. The M2 Max is expected to sport 12 CPU cores and 38 graphics cores -- an upgrade from 10 and 32 seen in current models.
Apple truly blew it out of the park with its M1 series CPUs and every SKU in the chipset is more powerful than the other one. However, Apple isn¡¯t done yet as it is soon planning on bringing a bunch of new Macs on the second generation of its M-series processors.

This is according to Bloomberg¡¯s Mark Gurman who reveals that the Cupertino giant has started widespread testing of at least nine mac models, with four different versions of M2 chips, indicating that the launch might be just around the corner.
Apple was found testing the apps using third-party apps from the App Store and it is the apps¡¯ developer logs that have spilled the beans surrounding the new upcoming Macs.
One of the devices under testing is a MacBook Air running on an M2 chip which has eight CPU cores and 10 graphics cores. To put things into perspective, the current M1 model only gets eight. Leaks have hinted at a colourful redesign of the MacBooks, taking inspiration from the new and colourful iMacs that were launched last year.
Alongside these, Apple is also reportedly testing a more powerful Mac Mini, running on M2 and M2 Pro processors as well as a base level M2 MacBook Pro with similar specs as the MacBook Air mentioned earlier.
