This rare shout out to Indian talent in USA from Elon Musk is certainly causing a bit of an outpouring of 'engagements' as one Twitter user (Pratyush Prabhakar) envisaged in response.
Elon Musk's tweet hailing Indian talent in the US has till now received over 100,000 likes and about 20,000 retweets in just over 20 hours.
The new Twitter CEO causing such a stir has amazing credentials to justify his new role at the company. Parag Agrawal studied at IIT-Bombay after which he attended Stanford University to get a PhD in computer science. In 2011, he joined Twitter as a distinguished software engineer, moving up the ladder quickly to take over CTO duties in 2017.
Agrawal takes over Twitter at a time when the company's trying to monetize and grow its business more aggressively. The kudos from Elon Musk should definitely boost his confidence in the new role, no?
