Engineering Student Who Ranked 4th In UPSC Chooses Indian Army, No Corporate Job
Born and raised in Patna, Bihar he has been a part of the NCC (National Cadet Corps) training since his schooling days and with his current scoring, he intends to join the Indian Army as a Lieutenant. He wishes to use his skills to be part of the ECE Technical Wing of the defence forces. His main goal, however, is to be a part of Special Forces.
Today every student who is studying hard is trying his/her best to get the best grade possible and get into the best of the institutions to land the best jobs and by extension, a hefty paycheck to live a satisfied and contented life.
And this race has several participants who want to achieve a similar dream. However, there are some who don't just look at money and comfort in choosing their career. And today we¡¯re going to tell you about one such student.
Meet Shubham Sinha, a student studying B.Tech at the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Lovely Professional University. He has secured an All India Rank- 4 in the UPSC CDS 2 Electronics and Communications Engineering SSC technical examinations held by the Indian Army. Not just this, he has also secured an AIR-19 in the Indian Naval Academy and AIR-48 in the Indian Military Academy.
Upon his reception of this ranking, he said in a statement, ¡°I am immensely thankful both to the faculty and mentors at LPU for the tremendous support and encouragement that they have bestowed upon me. The university pushed me to work on my skills and to academically excel, which significantly contributed in my success. Patience, hard work and an unwavering faith in God propelled me even further to accomplish my life-long goal of joining the Indian army.¡±
