Huawei's weekend hasn't been too great, what with Google revoking its Android and services license from the Chinese company, in the midst of a US-China trade war.
Now, it looks like other major tech brands have jumped on the bandwagon to pile on them too.

After a US government order banning American companies from doing business with Huawei, Bloomberg reports that Intel, Qualcomm, and Broadcom have all cut off dealings. Those are the three biggest chip manufacturers,in the business. And that's not all, apparently German chipmaker Infineon Technologies has also suspended shipments to Huawei, as have US-based Micron Technology and Western Digital.
Until now, Intel was providing chips for Huawei's servers and laptops, with Qualcomm providing modems and processors for its smartphones. At the very least, Huawei does also build its own processors and modems as well. It's apparently even been stockpiling them in case this very thing happened, and has enough for three months of assembly work. That should ideally be enough time for them to figure out if this move is just a US scare tactic that will be rolled back, or a permanent stand.

As for the Android licenses, this means Huawei is limited to the open-source version of Android. However, it's also been developing its own OS alternatives to both Android and Windows, though it's unclear how far along these are yet. Though Microsoft hasn't pulled licenses from the company, they're expected to fall in line as well soon.
This is only the latest move by the US against Huawei, after it refused to let the Chinese company enter their market last year.
