WhatsApp Will Stop Working On These 43 Smartphones From November 2021
Today, WhatsApp has shared a fresh list of OSes and smartphones it would no longer support.
WhatsApp, despite its flaws, has taken a space in our lives that¡¯s truly indispensable. However, as each year passes, it stops support for a specific OS version, and by extension a bunch of devices that are running on those operating systems.

And today, WhatsApp has shared a fresh list of OSes and smartphones it would no longer support.
Starting November 1st, the Facebook-owned texting platform will cease to support systems running on Android 4.1, Apple iOS 10 and KaiOS 2.5.1., according to its FAQ section. In case you were wondering which devices would be impacted by this, WhatsApp has also shared a list of phones that would be losing the support for the app.
Apple iPhone
iPhone SE (first generation), iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, in case they¡¯re not updated from iOS 10, will lose support for WhatsApp.

Although it is important to note that iPhone SE, 6s and 6s Plus can easily be updated to iOS 14, which would allow you to continue using WhatsApp.
LG
The LG Lucid 2, Optimus F7, Optimus F5, Optimus L3 II Dual, Optimus F5, Optimus L3 II, Optimus L4 II, Optimus L4 II Dual, Optimus L5, Optimus L5 II, Optimus L5 Dual, Optimus L7, Optimus L7 II Dual, Optimus L7 II, Optimus F6, Enact, Optimus F3, Optimus L2 II, Optimus Nitro HD, Optimus 4X HD, and Optimus F3Q.
ZTE
ZTE list of devices include ZTE Grand S Flex, ZTE Grand X Quad V987, ZTE Grand Memo and ZTE V956.

Huawei
The Huawei Ascend Mate, Huawei Ascend G740, Ascend D Quad XL, Ascend D1 Quad XL, Ascend P1 S and Ascend D2.
Sony
There are just three sony phones on this list -- Sony Xperia Miro, Sony Xperia Neo L and Xperia Arc S.
Samsung
Samsung Galaxy phones that have received the axe include The Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy Trend Lite, Galaxy Trend II, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Xcover 2.

Miscellaneous
Other miscellaneous brands on this list include Wiko Darknight, Alcatel One Touch Evo 7, Archos 53 Platinum, Caterpillar Cat B15, Wiko Cink Five, Lenovo A820, UMi X2, Faea F1,THL W8, and HTC Desire 500.
It is important to note, however, just because your phone is on this list does not mean WhatsApp will end the support. If your phone allows you to upgrade to a newer OS, you could still continue using WhatsApp until the messaging app ceases support for that OS.
