In 2016, Brazilian aerospace company Embraer filed a patent application for a "brain stimulation system to provide a sense of wellbeing," and it was granted last year. Embraer's anti-anxiety paraphernalia comes with a digital camera that scans the face of a passenger in a vehicle seat to gauge their facial expression. Based on this, the goal is to understand the passenger's emotions.

Then, an interface can offer an anxious passenger some transcranial stimulation, including electricity-based direct current stimulation, magnetic stimulation, and pulsed ultrasound. Simply put, if you're anxious on a plane and this software catches it, it would make you calm down through stimulation.
