Life high up in the mountains is a lot different than anything one might experience in cities like Delhi. People don¡¯t roam about at night, they don¡¯t rely on navigation and sometimes don't even have the means to use it. And occasionally, they are greeted by a fanged visitor.

While feline attackers are not anything new or unheard of in the mountain regions of India, it is uncommon to see them being friendly with humans. Reports of tiger attacks and other wild animals coming down to the areas where humans live are often recorded.

However, these visits are hardly ever friendly. That¡¯s why a group of people travelling on the Banjar-Kullu road in Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh, were extremely shocked when a leopard came down the mountain to greet them.

What was unique about the big cat¡¯s curious greeting was that no one was left hurt by the wild animal. The video first went viral in 2021 but has resurfaced and people are yet again bewildered by the leopard¡¯s unusual behaviour.

In the video, the leopard approaches a specific gentleman who looks somewhat like a local of the area. It greets the man and climbs on him with its claws digging deep into his clothes. The people standing around the human and the feline constantly hurl shouts and instructions to get the man out of the situation.

Although, the man looks like he is in no hurry to get parted from the leopard. The creature then gets back down on its four legs and scans its surroundings which are now teeming with curious heads bobbing from behind vehicles.

It seems like the man was feeding the leopard food as people around him command him not to indulge the hungry cat. Before moving on from the man, the leopard once again jumps at him with ferocious intensity and grabs his hands once again. The video ends with the leopard taking its leave after playing with the man.
