A man has received plaudits on social media for rescuing an injured dog that was asleep on a busy road and then bringing it back to health. Since being uploaded on the Instagram account 'KARTAVYA SOCIETY,' the "Miracle" recovery story has received over 1.3 million likes.

The video accompanying the report shows a guy and his companion pulling their car off the side of a busy road after finding a motionless puppy on the road. As cars flew by, the man dashed to the other side of the road to see if the dog was alive or dead. Fortunately, it was hurt but still alive.

The man scooped up the dog and drove him to a nearby veterinary clinic, where the vet performed a thorough examination and treatment. "It was nothing less than a miracle to find Miracle alive on the highway when vehicles were literally running over him while he was lying unconscious after meeting with an accident," the post reads.

Many people lauded their efforts to save the dog. A man wrote, "Thank you for saving a life. Hope similarly we humans can save Other animals who are being served in plates."

They named the dog "Miracle" after his miraculous survival

The dog was seen healthy and happy playing near the end of the video. The man who saved him named him Miracle for obvious reasons. According to the post, Miracle was bleeding from the head and was in shock as a result of the accident.

He had received minor head injuries but was fortunate not to be paralyzed. The video concludes with the man nursing and playing with Miracle, who appears to have recovered completely in a matter of days.

The society had decided to adopt Miracle, according to the post. "We have decided to keep miracle with us forever because God gave him a second chance that day, and it was certainly a miracle that he survived even as cars drove over him. We don't want him to return to those dangerous streets ever again."

The crucial message at the end of the video is for all of us: always stop and check to see if an animal lying on the road is unconscious or hurt.
