Backstreet's back! Iconic boy band become 1st pop act to perform at Las Vegas Sphere Residency
The iconic quintet！AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter！will be bringing their 1999 "Millennium" album back to the stage. The album featured top hits like 'I Want It That Way', 'Larger Than Life', 'Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely', and 'The One'.
"Everybody... Backstreet's back, alright!" This time, it's at the Sphere! The legendary boy band is bringing their iconic sound to Las Vegas for a special nine-show residency at the state-of-the-art venue in Paradise, Nevada, kicking off on July 11. With this announcement, the Backstreet Boys make history as the first pop act to perform at the Sphere, following U2's groundbreaking residency in 2023.
"We're heading Into The Millennium once again!" the group shared on Instagram. "Relive your Backstreet Boys Y2K memories, but this time´ LARGER THAN LIFE at @SphereVegas starting this July!"

This residency adds the Backstreet Boys to an elite lineup of artists who have performed at the Sphere, including U2, Phish, the Eagles, Dead & Company, and Anyma. Country star Kenny Chesney is also set to perform at the venue from May to June.
The Grammy-nominated group last released an album in 2019, which was followed by their biggest arena tour in 18 years. Later, in 2023, they also introduced their first holiday album, A Very Backstreet Christmas.
The Into the Millennium residency is set for July 11-13, 18-20, and 25-27. According to Billboard, the artist presale for the first six dates is already underway and will continue through February 17.
