V is currently completing his mandatory military service in the South Korean army, having enlisted in December 2023 along with BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon. The Layover hitmaker is a part of the 2nd Military Corps' Special Task Force. He is scheduled to complete his mandatory duty in June this year, along with fellow band members RM, Jimin, and Jungkook. All members of the wildly popular boyband are expected to reunite this summer.
