Coronavirus In India: Third Case Detected In Kerala, Center Appoints Task Force
A Kerala student who returned from Wuhan University on Monday tested positive for the infection. The medical student has been kept in an isolation ward at Kanhangad district hospital in Kasaragod Health Minister K K Shailaja informed the state assembly about the same and also said that the condition of the student was stable. About 2000 people have been kept under observation in Kerala as the virus has claimed 361 lives globally.
The latest update on Coronavirus is surfacing in Thiruvananthapuram, where the third case has been confirmed. A Kerala student who returned from Wuhan University on Monday, tested positive for the infection.
The medical student has been kept in an isolation ward at Kanhangad district hospital in Kasaragod. Health Minister K K Shailaja informed the state assembly about the same, and also said that the condition of the student was stable.
About 2000 people have been kept under observation in the Southern Indian state, as the virus has claimed 361 lives globally. The government has issued a travel advisory for the people travelling from China to India.

A task force has been set up to monitor the spread of Coronavirus.
The center has set up a task force for continuous monitoring of the novel Coronavirus, with representatives from Ministries of Health, Home Civil Aviation and Women and Child Development, as told by Union Minister, G Kishan Reddy.

On Monday, Kerala Health Minister, K K Shailaja, confirmed a third case of Coronavirus - a student has tested positive in Kasargod. On Sunday, February 2, the second case was confirmed and the patients are being monitored in the isolation ward at Alappuzha Medical College.
Around 2,000 people are under observation in Kerala.
Kerala Health department has put 1,924 people under observation in their homes, and 75 people have been admitted in the isolation wards in various different hospitals. As of now, 104 samples have been sent for testing, out of which results for 36 have been received. Out of these 36 cases, three were confirmed to be positive.
India has evacuated 647 Indians from virus -prone, Wuhan.

In the last two days, 647 Indian people have been evacuated from Wuhan, the city of China that is the epicenter of this global health crisis. 324 Indians were part of the first batch; 323 Indians and seven Maldives nationals were evacuated on the next trip on Sunday.
