The video was reportedly shot in Ponta Negra neighbourhood of Manaus in Brazil. In the 23-second-long clip, the long snake can be seen wrapping itself around the alligator while also trying to swallow it at the same time.
The video has gone viral on social media, garnering more than 15,000 views.

However, residents of the neighbourhood intervened in the snakes's hunt and tried to drag the two reptiles away by tying them with a rope. It is still unclear how they managed to get the rope around them.
Eventually, the residents managed to separate the two reptiles successfully and witnesses to this gruesome incident said that the anaconda was more than six feet in length. They even clicked pictures with the big snake.

The snake gave up on its prey after it was dragged to a stream. Reports added that both the reptiles headed back into the same forest they came from.
The nerve-racking video has garnered more than 15,000 views. While some people were simply left feeling extremely scared at the incident, others called out the locals for interfering in the food chain.
One user commented, 'Wow bro. What a shit huh. Disrupting nature and still taking pictures. Congratulations for the idiocy.'
While another wrote, 'White middle class doing shit and finding it cute, nothing new under the sun.'
