Watch: Leopard Grabs Pet Dog From Its Home, Bone-chilling Video Goes Viral
A video has circulated on the internet that shows a pet dog getting attacked by a leopard who jumped inside a home's driveway. People who reside in the hills are used to encountering wild animals such as leopards. They make appropriate modifications to their homes to prevent the big cats from intruding or causing any sort of harm to anyone. However, that is not always the case, and sadly, someone does get hurt.
What makes it worse is when the thing that get hurts is in no position to defend itself, and in this case, it was a pet dog.

The beginning of the clip shows a medium-sized pet dog barking into the night at something it cannot see yet. However, soon enough the dog sees the deadly big cat lurking outside the house, and the canine tries to run away. But the quick predator hops over the gate, grabs the dog, and goes back outside. Even you do not love dogs as much as the next person, this video will leave you feeling a little heavy in the heart.
Netizens replied to Kaswan's post by claiming that they have experienced similar incidents; some of them also shared videos of dogs trying to scare away leopards.

Some of them also pointed out that the pet should not have been kept outside if leopard attacks are expected.
It's absolutely pathetic that the pet is left outside the house

In addition to this, Kaswan wrote that in order to protect their dogs from leopard attacks, residents of hill stations put an iron collar on their pets. He shared a picture to explain what the collar looks like.
This is unusual sight for some. But in many regions including hilly areas Leopards usually hunt dogs. So local people keep a iron collar over their pets. Which save them.

Also in many regions stray dogs are huge trouble for leopards. One example from Reddit. pic.twitter.com/YFErLiD1VQ
