Deer with antlers look really majestic, but it can be really problematic for them. Antlers of two deer got hopelessly intertwined and they would have died of exhaustion or starvation if it was not for the people who helped them.
Two bucks got entangled and tried to break themselves free, but to no avail.
The incident was reported from Pratt Creek Lake in Michigan. Kent County Corrections Officer Brad Lyons came to the rescue of the poor animals in time.
This is how it all began: Insurance agent Mark Johnson saw two deer entangled in a field northwest of 84th street and Alden Nash Avenue. He reportedly said, ¡°I called my buddy, Brad Lyons, I'm like 'Brad, I think we got two bucks locked up. I think we need to do something.¡±
Even though Johnson and Brad were trying to help the deer, the scared bucks ran away from them and fell into a creek. A viral video of the deer first show them in a dead lock. Another video shows how the two men freed the poor animals.
While the deer were stuck upside down in the water Brad took the opportunity to help them without hurting either of them.
Johnson and Brad are hunters, and in any other situation would have seen the deer as a good game. Instead, they just sawed-off the antler and kept that as a trophy.
