Kanye West has resurrected himself on X (formerly known as Twitter), and it's been one chaotic turn of events. While most of Hollywood has maintained its silence over West's recent posts, Friends star David Schwimmer has spoken out against the rapper. The Hollywood actor took to Instagram on Saturday to call on Elon Musk, asking him to remove Ye from X.

Kanye West has been posting a string of controversial tweets on X, demanding Diddy's release, identifying as a Nazi, and lashing out at plus size models. His social media rant comes days after he made headlines at the 2025 Grammys along with his wife Bianca Censori, who went naked on the red carpet.

David Schwimmer is urging Elon Musk to take action against Kanye West's hate speech on X. Taking to Instagram, the actor urged Musk to ban West from the platform, saying that while they can't stop West from spewing hate, they can stop giving him a massive audience to spread his ignorant and hurtful words.

ˇ°Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X. That's twice as many people as the number of Jews in existence. His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.ˇ±

ˇ°I don't know what's worse, the fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalized communities, including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point.ˇ±

Kanye West has been in hot water before for his insensitive comments. Previously, he was banned from X for nearly eight months between 2022 and 2023. During that time, he posted some disturbing content, including a swastika, which not only derailed his career but also cost him some major brand partnerships, like Adidas.

West, taking to his social media handles, wrote, ˇ°I don't like or trust any Jewish person, and this is completely sober with no Hennessy.ˇ± He also called himself ˇ°a Naziˇ± and ˇ°racist" and continued, "Stereotypes exist for a reason, and they all are true. You can get money with Jewish people, but they're always going to steal and invite you over to their house on Friday.ˇ±

Kanye slams Hollywood for maintaining silence over Diddy's arrest

Kanye West slammed Hollywood while calling on Donald Trump to free Diddy, who's currently in jail since September last year.

In a post on X, Kanye pleaded with Trump, saying, "Donald Trump, please free my brother Puff."

He also shared a video of a FaceTime call with Diddy's son, Christian Combs, and expressed his desire for people to listen to Dave Chappelle's jokes and understand how funny it gets when families are separated, especially Black families.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, has been denied bail multiple times and is awaiting trial on federal charges. He has been accused of some pretty serious crimes, including organizing events known as "freak offs" where women were allegedly forced into sex acts.

Kanye is the only Hollywood celeb who has come out in Combs' support. Notably, his former close friends and associates, including Beyonc¨¦, Jay-Z, and Usher, have remained silent on the matter.
