Chandrakanta in English translates to ¡®moon child¡¯ and as his destiny would have it, he found himself to be a senior scientist of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Today, he is one of those people who helped make Chandrayaan-2 mission a thundering success.

Charumathi, the daughter of a juice seller in Tamil Nadu cracked NEET exam, that's known to be one of the toughest in the country. Preparing for the exam living in a small house with seven other members wasn¡¯t easy at all, but her hard work and determination helped her achieve her dream. Her story is nothing short of inspiring.
Charumathi and her family lost their house located on the banks of Adyar River in the floods in 2015 and then the family moved to Perumbakkam in a house provided by the government. She managed and compensated with more hard work and secured a seat in Pudukkotai government medical college.

P Jeevitha, a daughter of a tailor in Anakaputhur, bagged an MBBS seat under the general category in the reputed Madras Medical College, on the second day of counselling itself. P Jeevitha reportedly said, ¡°I was waiting for this day for long and it is finally here. I am very happy.¡±
Jeevitha scored an impressive 605 in NEET examination. But even after she got through and was eligible for admission, the cost of her medical education was way too high for her family to be able to afford. That is when the BJP State president Tamilisai Soundararajan came forward and offered to fund her education.

Meena, a security guard from Rajasthan has cracked the university's entrance examination and will now take admission in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Russian (Hons).
¡°What makes JNU different is that people here do not believe in social hierarchy. Everyone - teachers and students - encouraged me; now they congratulate me. I feel like I have become famous overnight,¡± Meena told Hindustan Times.

It was double delight for daughter of an electrician, pistol shooter from Bhopal Chinki Yadav, who won the 25m pistol gold medal in the national selection trials and team silver in the national shooting championship. Two other female shooters from MP also won medals in the 19th Surendra Singh memorial shooting championship in Delhi.
Jabalpur¡¯s Gun for Glory rifle shooter Shreya Agarwal and pistol shooter Mahima Agarwal also won medals in the championship. ¡°My son has made us proud today. It¡¯s a dream come true for us,¡± Shashikant, Sarthak¡¯s father told the Times Of India.
Shashikant has been driving an auto rickshaw in Kolhapur for the past three decades. He gave full credit to his son, who was strong and did not lose his focus when his mother died in a tragic accident four years ago.
