15-Year-Old Brother Saves His Sister's Life By Fighting Off A 14-Foot Long Crocodile
Hashim and his sister - Haina Lisa Jose Habi - were crossing a bridge when a crocodile attacked his sister and dragged her off the bridge in Philippines. The crocodile pulled her by her leg and Haina collapsed through a gap in the bridge. A 15-year-old boy is being hailed as a hero after he fought with a 14-foot long crocodile to save the life of his 12-year-old sister. Hashim and his sister - Haina Lisa Jose Habi - were crossing a bridge, when a crocodile attacked his sister and dragged her off the bridge in Philippines.
The crocodile pulled her by her leg and Haina collapsed through a gap in the bridge. When Hashim reached the shore, he saw his sister screaming in pain as the crocodile has bitten her on the leg. "The crocodile was bigger than me. I was so scared. I panicked and cried. I saw its teeth and inside its mouth," Haina told the Daily Mail.

Without wasting a second, Hashim rushed to save his sister. He started throwing rocks at the crocodile as Haina screamed in fright. "I screamed and Hashim helped me. He threw rocks at the crocodile and pulled me away from it. I love him so much. He saved my life," Haina told Daily Mail.
Hashim surely saved her life but the little girl did suffer injuries and was later admitted to the hospital as she ended up with a deep cut on her right leg.

Speaking of the incident, Hashim told the Daily Mail, "I crossed the bridge first. When I looked behind, I thought she only fell. But then I saw the head of the crocodile. My sister was hanging from the bridge. Then I grabbed her."
In a similar incident, a schoolgirl in Zimbabwe reportedly saved her friend from becoming a meal of a large crocodile, by jumping on its back and gouging its eyes till it did not leave the former.

9-year-old Latoya Muwani was reportedly attacked by a crocodile while swimming in a stream, along with her friends in Sinderela Village, Zimbabwe. 11-year-old Rebecca Munkombwe, had just gotten out of the stream when she heard the screams for help coming from the water.
The 9-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital and she luckily escaped with minor injuries.
