What Made The Family Shift To A Hotel?
On mainland social media, a family of eight that paid 1,000 yuan (Rs 11,000) a day for a luxurious hotel suite for 229 days has gained widespread attention, according to South China Morning Post.
The unnamed group chose to live in a hotel instead of an apartment after moving from the city of Nanyang in the central province of Henan. The eight-person family had been sharing a suite with a living room and two twin rooms for 229 days so far.
According to Sina News, they are now preparing to live out the rest of their days in luxury as they are enjoying their new lifestyle so much. A TV, couches, chairs, and tables can be seen in the hotel living area in a widely shared video.
The clip shows the room stocked with necessities such as food, drink, and clothing. A group of relatives can be seen chatting over fruit at a table.
"We are on our 229th day of stay at the hotel," Mu Xue, one of the family members, states. "The daily rate for the room is 1,000 yuan. Our eight-person family is doing quite well," she remarked, mentioning that the motel had provided the long-term rental rate.
Parking, heating, water, and power were all included in the hotel price because it was all-inclusive.
