Hindi, English, Tamil, Telegu and Punjabi are among the many languages spoken in India. Sanskrit is also one of them although it is usually not spoken on a day-to-day basis, unlike other languages. However, in a recent viral, one can hear a man's cricket commentary in fluent Sanskrit. The video has won everyone's hearts.

A new video of a man using Sanskrit for cricket commentary during a gully match is gaining traction on social media. In the video posted by Twitter user @chidsamskritam, a group of teens can be seen playing cricket in an open space. They also seem to be conversing with one another in Sanskrit when the video starts.

A boy seen at the beginning of the video can later be heard in the background speaking flawless Sanskrit. The novel concept and the commentator's fluency have stunned online users.

The video has garnered more than 180k views with many likes and retweets. Cricket commentary has been televised for a long time in Hindi, English, and other regional languages. But this video was truly one of its kind for obvious reasons.
