Delhi Cafe Serves 'Illusion Biryani' With Magic Trick
Food bloggers Mehak & Rituraj visited a cafe in Delhi for their 365K followers on their Instagram account @Delhifoodnest.
In the clip they shared, the restaurant uniquely served their Biryani. The magic started with the server adding rice, spices, and a raw egg inside a tiffin-like thermos.
After adding the ingredients to make the biryani, the server picked up the tiffin to shake it well. Surprisingly, the raw ingredients transformed into a perfectly cooked biryani ready to eat. The show took place in Farzi cafe, Connaught Place in Delhi.
The blogger informed her fans that the Biryani with the show cost her Rs 625. She also left a five-star rating for the food she had in the caption.
Folks On The Internet Gave Mixed Reactions To The Magic Biryani
People online were impressed by the show.
One user exclaimed, ¡°Wow, yummy.¡± However, many hopped onto the comment section to mention that the dish was not technically a ¡°biryani, " traditionally made with chicken or lamb meat.
One user insisted, ¡°Masala Khichdi, nice!!¡± While another noted, ¡°East or west Hyderabadi biryani is the best.¡± One cried, ¡°Biryani without chicken is like me without buri kismat.¡±
People also tried to figure out how the server played the trick.
One user theorised, ¡°He already had the curry in with most rice. Then he added a bit of rice, mixed it well, and served.¡± While another thought, ¡°He just flipped the jar while shaking, where on the other side, cooked biriyani was already there.¡±
Some even got upset after watching the magic show.
One wrote, ¡°This is sad; food has to be presented like a circus. The core value of cherishing the food is getting lost daily, and entertainment is taking over; the worst part is that culinarians are entertaining all of these things just for the sake of business as if their food no longer has any value left to it.¡±
