To Get People To Follow Traffic Rules, This MBA Student From Indore Is 'Dancing' On The Roads
Shubhi Jain an MBA student at Symbiosis Institute has been managing traffic on Indore roads with her innovative dance moves. Her quirky way to make people aware about road safety is literally turning heads. Despite suffering an ankle injury while playing a basketball match she wanted to do something for the country.
In India, flouting traffic rules is a common sight and there¡¯s only so much the police can do to manage all the chaos. To get people to follow the traffic rules, this MBA student came up with a unique idea.

"I have been doing this voluntary activity for the traffic police for the last 15 days. When people turn back and smile at you, it automatically inspires you to do more," Jain told ANI. "Nowadays, people come up to me and inform me that they are wearing seat belts and helmets," she added.

She also said that despite suffering an ankle injury while playing a basketball match, she wanted to do something for the country.
"We are running the Vision 2022 in Indore, in which we have taken the help of several volunteers from different schools and institutes and trained them for six months," Umakant Chaudhary, DSP, Indore Traffic, told ANI.

Chaudhary stated that people like Jain's quirky dance and others are also getting inspired to volunteer and come up with new ways to spread awareness on road safety.
Kunal Jawar, who is a frequent traveller on the road where Shubhi Jain manages traffic, also came out in support. "It is a very innovative way to get the attention of the people. I believe that if youngsters teach the elders about road safety, it is bound to have a bigger impact on the public," Jawar said.
Similarly, to prevent drivers from honking, a cop from Chandigarh came up with a clever idea. While he fulfils his regular duty, he also takes some time to sing about traffic rules. Yes, that's exactly what he does. Take a look:
A lot of people feel being a rule-breaker is cool. But that's not what it feels like when you end up paying a fine or worse getting hurt. This young woman is making a lot of effort to drive the point home and she deserves all the praises for it.
