Honest Bengaluru Cop Finds Woman's iPhone On Road, Keeps It Safe Till She Comes Looking For It
A traffic constable found a lost iPhone in Bengaluru and decided to keep it safe till the owner came looking for it. Within half an hour the owner called to find out where the phone was and thanked the constable for his quick-thinking and honesty.
We¡¯ve all become so dependent on our phone, that even the thought of losing it scares us. Let alone dropping it accidentally at a random location where we can¡¯t trace it back.
In this day and age, if one loses a phone a expensive as an iPhone, it¡¯s a ¡®hope against hope¡¯ scenario and next to impossible to get it back. Unless, of course, someone honest finds it and makes an effort to hand it back.

In an incident that took place in Bengaluru, a constable who found a lost iPhone at 29th Main Gangothri Junction in BTM Layout and decided to keep it safe till the owner came looking for it.
The traffic constable named Lokesh told Bangalore Mirror, "While I was on duty at 9 am I found the mobile fallen at the Gangotri circle. Luckily it had not been stolen o"r damaged by moving vehicles."
Seeing that it was unclaimed, Lokesh kept it safe with him and within half an hour the owner called to find out where the phone was.
The woman took a huge sigh of relief knowing that the phone was in safe hands and rushed to collect it, and thanked the constable for his quick-thinking and honesty.
For people in Bengaluru the sight of cops is not very pleasant, given the way they charge fine left, right and centre, with newly revised traffic rules. But Lokesh's act of kindness was a literal breath of fresh air.
