A video going around the internet of Japan¡¯s PM has quickly gone viral on desi Twitter as people enjoy watching the PM relish the Indian street food delicacy. In his recent visit to India on Monday, PM Kishida visited the Buddha Jayanti Park alongside PM Modi.
The two leaders took a private walk around the park and even had some of the snacks prepared for the foreign minister. The Japanese PM tried idlis, aam panna and lassi at the park. However, something about him trying golgappas has people rolling on the floor.
In the clip, the Japan PM is served a few golgappas. At first, he is puzzled and seems confused about how to eat the little concoction, but once he is assisted he gulps two in a row. PM Kishida nods in approval after trying the dish.
After a while, the chef asks him whether he would like more of them, and he answers ¡®I¡¯ll try some more.¡± Hearing this, PM Modi smiles with pleasure seeing the Japanese PM enjoy Indian street food.

The Two Prime Ministers Enjoyed Street Food From Around India
Besides having special golgappas, the two prime ministers also enjoyed chai in earthen pots as they rested on a bench. After a walk around the park, the ministers made their way to the food stalls. While indulging in some lassi, the two leaders tried their hands at churning the drink as the chef explained the recipe to Kishida.
PM Modi shared glimpses of their food tour at the park on Twitter and wrote, ¡°My friend PM @kishida230 enjoyed Indian snacks including Golgappas.¡±

Twitter went into a frenzy after watching the video. People rushed in to praise and comment on the rare moment. One user joked, ¡°Tomorrow Morning Japanese PM will know why we use water in place of tissue.¡±
