Maqsooma, a class VI student, has got the internet talking after a video of her sublime batting skills surfaced on social media.

In a clip shared on Twitter by the Directorate of School Education (DSE) in Ladakh, Maqsooma can be seen showing off her batting prowess as she hit bowlers all around the park.
"My father at home and my teacher at school encourage me to play cricket. I'll put all my efforts to play like @imVkohli Maqsooma student class 6th #HSKaksar," tweeted the Directorate of School Education.

The video opened to show the schoolgirl smashing a ball through what would usually be called midwicket in cricket and running in order to complete the runs. Throughout the clip, Maqsooma can be seen toying with the bowlers as she hit some cracking shots.
Maqsooma aspires to be like Virat Kohli
In the clip, Maqsooma reveals she aspires to be like the Indian star batter Virat Kohli. She also said that she wants to learn to play the 'helicopter' shot that is synonymous with MS Dhoni.
The video has garnered more than 5,00,000 views and hundreds of comments.
