Bizarre Wax Statue Of MS Dhoni In Mysore Sparks Memefest
The picture of MS Dhoni's life-size wax statue, posted on Friday morning by Twitter user @mufaddal_vohra, has gone viral on social media.
The Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is regarded as one of the most praised cricketers of all time. The legendary wicket-keeper batsman is the only Indian captain to have led his country to two world championships.

So, naturally, the man who is respected among friends and fans even though he retired from international cricket years ago needs admiration. Recently, a life-size wax statue of Dhoni has been unveiled in the Chamundeshwari Wax Museum in Mysore, Karnataka to honour the veteran cricketer.
The image was shared on Twitter by a user named @mufaddal_vohra, and it has since received nearly 6,000 likes and hundreds of comments.Even though the picture has gone viral, it has gained attention for a different reason.
People on the internet pointed out that the statue doesn't resemble MS Dhoni at all. Many even said that the figure looked more like former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar than Dhoni.

People on the internet made jokes and memes about the said picture, saying that this is a complete mistake. Cricket writer Jarrod Kimber wrote, "That's a big no from me". Another user joked, "The artist who made this statue is the same person who created VFX for Adipurush". A third commented, "What if Dhoni and Ranbir Kapoor had a single statue," while a fourth hilariously added, "Shut up that's Shoaib, not Dhoni". "Shoaib malik in Indian cricket team jersey with a different hairstyle," wrote fifth.

MS Dhoni is currently the captain of the IPL team, Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni will return to cricketing action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023. The cricketer had confirmed last season that he planned not to call it quits before playing for the Chepauk crowd in Chennai.
