Man Purchases Last Two Tickets In A Lottery Lot, Ends Up Winning 33 Crores

As it turns out, it is not always "first come, first served" when it comes to winning lotteries. Trying out his luck, a man decided to buy the last two lottery tickets left in the roll at his local store in Michigan, USA. To his complete surprise, the man won the lottery for a whopping 4 million USD (33 crores).

Man From Michigan Wins Big In Lottery After He Buys The Last Two Tickets In The Lot

He shared with UPI that he went into the store in Bad Axe City to cash in some of his previous winnings and had ended up picking out the last two tickets in the lot, never estimating that they would end up changing his life.

The man opened up about the happy incident with Michigan Lottery officials and said, ¡°I like playing the $20 and $30 instant tickets and I had a few of them to cash while I was at the store one day.¡± He continued, ¡°When I got up to the counter, I saw there were only two Diamond 7s tickets left, so I purchased them both. I scratched the barcodes and had the clerk scan them right away.¡±

The Man Was In 'Complete Shock' After Winning The Grand Prize

His world started to spin off its axis when he read off one of the tickets to claim the top prize as he was scratching them; he was stunned and immediately started scratching the ticket frantically. He was absolutely shocked to have won the grand prize of Rs. 33 crore. The winner recounted, "As soon as I scratched the winning symbol and saw "4MIL" underneath, I grabbed the ticket and ran out of the store. I was in complete shock."

He noted that he will put aside some of the money to buy a new house and added, "Winning is such a blessing, I still can't believe it's real." The moment was a complete blessing to the man, who had no idea such a thing could happen to him. In a matter of seconds, or should I say scratches, his life was changed forever.
