A nurse is going viral after posting a video speculating about the health of Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting he may have Parkinson's disease.
The user, who goes by the name Haus of Petty or @musclesandnursing on TikTok, posted the clip where he speculates about Putin. The video has received over 2 million views on the short-form video site.
"Nurses and medical professionals, I'm gonna show you a video and this is why we should be terrified," @musclesandnursing said in the video.
The clip then shows Putin seemingly struggling to walk as he slightly stumbles on his right leg.
"I'm a nurse I cannot diagnose, but I do know Parkinson's and a stroke when I see it. Parkinson's is under the umbrella of dementia," @musclesandnursing said.
Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects movement, typically on one side. The symptoms usually begin gradually and individuals tend to have a small tremor that begins in the hand or fingers, according to the Mayo Clinic.
The nurse also speculated that Putin "probably had a stroke" based on the "utilization of his right leg" and the way it jerked when it was lifted off the ground, which he said is also a symptom of vascular dementia.
He went on to say: "If you look at what he's doing, Vladimir Putin is mentally unstable and he's got keys to nukes.¡±
Putin's health has been part of the speculation for years now. In 2020, various media reports suggested that Putin would step down as president in January 2021 as he may have Parkinson's.
The Sun, in its report in November 2020, had said that Putin has cancer - as well as symptoms of Parkinson¡¯s Disease - and had emergency surgery earlier in the year.
The report citing political analyst Valery Solovei had claimed that Putin would announce his Kremlin exit early in 2021. However, the reports were quashed by Kremlin as mere rumours.
The eyes of the world have been on Putin since he ordered a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. So far, at least 2 million people have fled Ukraine and hundreds of civilians have been killed, making it the fastest-growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II.
