Respect! Railway Cop Turns Saviour, Saves Woman From Getting Stuck Under Moving Train
A video is going viral on social media which shows a woman falling on the platform while trying to board a moving train.
When it comes to boarding a train in India, most people are always in a hurry and land up in tricky situations while attempting to hop on a moving train. It's not the best idea.
That's what happened to a woman who thought catching a train was more important than her own life. A woman fell under a train while trying to board it as it was leaving the station, and the moment was captured on camera.
However, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel became her saviour, preventing the woman from falling into the gap between the platform and the train. Thankfully, the personnel was walking on the platform when this incident took place.
The Ministry of Railways shared the CCTV footage of the same on their Twitter account. The caption along with the video wrote, "The promptness of the railway employee saved the life of a passenger! A woman suddenly fell down while boarding a moving train at Raipur station in Chhattisgarh. The RPF personnel on duty quickly saved his life. Do not get on/off a moving train, it can be fatal."

Many even suggested how the gap between the train and platform should be reduced so that incidents like these don't occur frequently. One user wrote, "There is a need to increase the height of the platform.....Such a huge gap between the train and the platform surely has more chances of such incidents in future."
These kind of incidents are happening very frequently nowadays. The space between footboard and platform should be reduced

This is not the first time an incident like this has occurred and a cop has come to rescue someone. Last year, two women were seen jumping off the Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express just as it gathered speed. While one of them landed on the platform, the other lost her balance and swerved dangerously close to the gap between the train and the platform.

However, an RPF Sub-Inspector saw this, ran towards her and pulled her away before something bad could happen.
