Amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a heartwarming video has emerged showing a Ukrainian couple getting married while fighting for their nation.
The video shows how the newly married couple is in their military uniform and surrounded by fellow soldiers. Their fellow colleagues can be seen singing and applauding the newlyweds on their special day.
According to The Daily Mail, the husband and the wife are named Lesya and Valeriy. The fellow soldiers made sure that the couple had a nice wedding despite the ongoing war and somehow managed to find a veil for the bride and even arranged a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne.

Both the newlyweds were applauded and the bride looks to have swapped her helmet for a white veil as she smiled and held Valeriy's hand. There is also a soldier among the lot that appears to be wearing an Orthodox Christian cross, often seen at weddings in the country where the religion is followed by a majority of people.
The footage was shared by Paul Ronzheimer, a reporter for German news outlet BILD-Zeitung.

That's heartbreaking...to see so much love in the middle of a MASSACRE..She definitely didn't think that an army uniform will be her wedding dress
