According to ANI, the jawans travelled 40-km on foot for 15 hours carrying an injured woman on a stretcher from a remote village, Lapsa to Munsyari in Pithoragarh.

Back in 2018, the Jawans carried a pregnant woman on a stretcher to a hospital that was five kilometres away from her village in Chhattisgarh.

Heavy rains and waterlogging were preventing the ambulance from reaching the 30-year-old Sahdai's residence. That's when the jawans came to her rescue.
According to reports, ITBP Post Commander AC Laxmikani and his men carried her on a stretcher for five kilometres, after which an ambulance was called.
