India's Got Latent's latest members-only episode featuring India's top YouTubers, such as Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as the BeerBiceps, is receiving a massive outrage on social media because of their offensive and obscene comments on the show. But the problems seem to be far-reaching and beyond social media, as a complaint has been filed against the show by a verified handle on X (formerly called Twitter), under the name Hindu IT cell, whose bio describes it as "A Registered group under Trust act. Motto is to protect our Dharma legally. Founders : @Rajput_Ramesh @MODIfiedVikas"
Another complaint has been filed against Ranveer and Samay with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has warned that strict action will be taken against Ranveer Allahbadia. Action will be taken if the limit has been crossed....freedom of speech can't be taken for granted," he said.
