Comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina is back in the spotlight, teasing the possible return of his controversial show India¡¯s Got Latent. Amidst ongoing legal trouble and the aftermath of a viral backlash, Raina is kicking off an international tour and dropping cryptic hints that something big may just be brewing.

Samay Raina might just be planning the most chaotic comeback of 2025, and the internet is buzzing. The popular stand-up comic and YouTube personality has finally broken his silence about the future of his cancelled show, India¡¯s Got Latent, and let¡¯s just say¡ he is not exactly denying anything.
Samay Raina hints at the return on India¡¯s Got Latent
In a recent promo chat for a sexual wellness brand co-owned by Bollywood¡¯s Ranveer Singh, podcaster Raj Shamani straight-up asked the question fans have been dying to know: Is India¡¯s Got Latent making a comeback? Raina, ever the master of wordplay, grinned and said, ¡°Woh toh ab Samay hee bata payega. Main nahi, time. Time is the best healer.¡± (Only time will tell), literally and metaphorically, because ¡°Samay¡± means ¡°time¡± in Hindi. Cheeky, much?
He added, ¡°Good things take time,¡± flashing a knowing smile that sent fans into full-blown theory mode. Was that a hint? A teaser? A promise? Raina is giving the cryptic king energy and the internet is eating it up.
India¡¯s Got Latent controversy
For those living under a WiFi-less rock, India¡¯s Got Latent was pulled off YouTube following an FIR filed by Guwahati Police. The episode in question featured creators Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija, and sparked outrage due to an inappropriate remark made by Allahbadia. What followed was a digital firestorm: public backlash, legal trouble, and the full cancellation of the show.

Samay Raina¡¯s return with international tours
But Samay is not letting the controversy define his 2025. In fact, he is going global. The comedian just announced an international tour spanning Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, kicking off in Cologne on June 5 and wrapping in Sydney on July 20. Fans swarmed his website so hard it temporarily crashed (iconic behaviour), and word is that the upcoming sets are going to be more introspective, raw, and deeply personal.
So while India¡¯s Got Latent may be legally locked in limbo, Samay Raina¡¯s career is definitely back in motion. And with every ¡°time¡± pun and teasing grin, it is clear: he is not done making noise just yet.
While the show is still in talks, we have Samay, who surely knows how to keep his audience guessing, and interested.
