Jay-Z accused of raping a 13-year-old along with Diddy in 2000; rapper slams 'conspiracy theorists'
Rapper Jay-Z has been added to an October lawsuit filed against Diddy for raping a 13-year-old girl. Earlier, the suit referred to him as 'Celebrity A'. The victim has claimed that the said incident took place in 2000 at MTV VMAs afterparty. Jay-Z's team has now responded to the allegations.
Jay-Z and Beyonc¨¦ have been at the receiving end of flak ever since Diddy's arrest, owing to their close ties to the incarcerated rapper. The music pair was earlier dragged into the Diddy drama by Jaguar Wright, who claimed to have witnesses willing to testify against him. Now, months after the claims, Jay-Z has been added to a civil lawsuit filed against Diddy, accusing both him and the disgraced music mogul of allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000. The lawsuit was filed by attorney Tony Buzbee in the Southern District of New York.

The federal lawsuit previously filed against Diddy in October added Jay-Z, whose real name is Sean Carter, on Sunday. The rapper was informed by the plaintiff's counsel about the refiling of the lawsuit, requesting his mediation to resolve this matter, Buzbee wrote in the suit.
Filed by one Jane Doe, the lawsuit claims the alleged incident took place after she was invited to an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. It added that Jay-Z and Diddy intoxicated Doe, who was 13 years old at the time of the incident, at the MTV VMA after-party in 2000 in New York City on the pretext of meeting celebrities.
Doe claimed that after arriving outside the venue for the award show without a ticket, she approached several limousine drivers in an attempt to gain entry. One driver, who claimed to work for Diddy, took note of her situation and invited her to the after-party. She was then taken to a white house where she signed what she believed was a nondisclosure agreement.
The drug-fueled party had many celebrities in attendance, the accuser claimed, adding she was given a drug that made her feel disoriented. After losing her consciousness, she was allegedly raped by Diddy and Jay-Z while a female celebrity, whose identity has not been disclosed, watched them.

After the lawsuit was filed, pictures of Diddy and Jay-Z from the said event have now resurfaced on X. A post shared by a user claimed that he had previously shared this lawsuit but at that time Jay-Z was referred to as Celebrity A. The user further shared a list of names of those who were allegedly in attendance at the party.

Jay-Z responds to the accusations
Jay-Z has now responded to the allegations, claiming that Tony Buzbee sent his lawyer a 'blackmail' in an attempt to force a settlement. Refusing to settle, he has chosen the legal route and looks forward to challenging the 'fraudulent' accusations publicly.
¡°You have made a terrible error in judgment thinking that all ¡®celebrities¡¯ are the same. I¡¯m not from your moral world. I¡¯m a young man who made it out of the projects of Brooklyn,¡± Carter reportedly said.
¡°We don¡¯t play these types of games. We have very strict codes and honour. We protect children, you seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable," he added.
