'Looks Like CRAPosa': Internet Reacts To Bizarre Food Combo Of Samosa + Croissant¡ª'Cramosa'
A British coffee house chain tried this with the naming of a croissant; they called it a "Cramosa" to replicate the pronunciation of the name of a famous Indian snack.
In India, changing foreign dishes to taste just right for local tastes is common. The flaky texture of croissants, a favourite French breakfast food, has prompted many to compare them to traditional Indian snacks like Khari, patties, or puff pastry.
Nonetheless, to draw in customers, several eateries in India give their food strange names.
A British coffee house chain tried this with the naming of a croissant; they called it a "Cramosa" to replicate the pronunciation of the name of a famous Indian snack.
This move has once again stirred up online debate, with many users sharing their amusing reactions to the bizarre meal combo that has swept the internet.
Recently, a Twitter user named Harihar posted a picture of a croissant from Costa Coffee, an Indian chain that sells for Rs. 170. Nevertheless, the croissant was erroneously branded as a "Cramosa," which led to a Twitter uproar in India.

Desis didn't quite understand if they were eating an authentic croissant or a samosa disguised to seem like a croissant because of the strange name for this breakfast classic.
In contrast, the pastry was labelled as a "Samosa croissant" in a vintage photo, which may suggest that it was stuffed with potatoes. Desis's strange meal combination from the past has come back to affect him in a recent Twitter tweet.

Users joked about giving the pastry various names, with "Samossaint" and "Crahimsa" among some contenders.
A comment read: "And people wonder why the French are rioting."
Another dubbed the pastry a "samosaint,", while another called it a "crahimsa.".
The name "Cramosa" first appeared online when a woman posted a photo of a "Samosa croissant served with mint dip" from a Costa location at the Delhi airport. The internet responded with widespread disapproval, indicating that the experiment was poorly received.
