Karnataka Villagers Rescue Leopard Stuck In Well With 'Fire Jugaad,' Video Goes Viral
Karnataka villagers used ingenious jugaad to help a leopard escape a well it had fallen into. The Internet praises the villagers for their quick-thinking solution.
The rural towns of India often come into contact with the wild. While wild animals have little to no access to the urban settlements of the country, these animals do often show up in rural villages.
One such incident happened recently in Karnataka, where a leopard somehow got itself stuck in a well without any plans or solutions to get back up from the deep hole.
Karnataka Villagers Save Leopard Stuck In Well With 'Fire Jugaad'
When the villagers learned of the situation, they did their best to save the leopard and get it back to its natural habitat, away from the village.Twitter user Sahana Singh shared a video of the incident and also shared how the people of the village helped out the big cat with an ingenious jugaad to get back to where it came from.
The leopard was in a serious pinch. Not only was the feline scared of the unknown territory it had ventured into, but things had also quickly gone downhill after it had trapped itself in the well. However, villagers came to the cat¡¯s rescue and tried to help it out of the well. People brought a ladder and set it up inside the well so that the leopard could use it to climb out of the well and go about its day.
The Leopard Was Scared, Which Prompted Villagers To Come Up With A Solution

However, the leopard was likely scared of the circumstances and was hesitating to come out of the hole. To tackle the unexpected pickle, the villagers thought of an ingenious jugaad. They brought in a long stick and fired up one of its ends. They placed the fire stick close to the leopard¡¯s back inside the well, which gave it the push it needed to attempt to climb the ladder.
Once the leopard was on the ladder, the villagers' work was about done. Everyone rejoiced as the leopard left for its own home.
