A video of the cop calmly handling a fire that could have engulfed an entire house is going viral and winning praise from people.
Not all heroes wear capes, and there have been many incidents in the real world that prove that point time and again. On that list is a new name, that of UP cop constable Yogendra Rathi. A video of the cop calmly handling a fire that could have engulfed an entire house is going viral and winning praise from people.
The cop in Uttar Pradesh sprang into action after an LPG cylinder caught fire inside a house.
A tweet was shared by additional SP Rahul Srivastav with the caption, 'A true baptism of fire for Constable Yogendra Rathi of @sambhalpolice. His indomitable courage saved a priest¡¯s hut from getting engulfed in fire¡¯.
The video starts with an LPG cylinder on fire and the looming fear that it might burst at any moment. The cop however kept his calm and using a long pole, manoeuvred the LPG cylinder. He tried to pull it away from the kitchen shelf. A child then comes to him with a bucket of water in which the constable dips what looks like a blanket. As many people know blankets act as insulators and wet blankets usually get the job done better.
