In a new twist in Kim Soo Hyun's dating scandal with Kim Sae Ron, it has been revealed that the late actress was indeed married. The actress's husband, whose identity has not been revealed, has shared a message through Garosero Research Institute. He also shared his marriage certificate with the YouTube channel to confirm his identity.

In his lengthy statement, Kim Sae Ron's ex-husband denied allegations of abuse and blackmail. He said that he was grieving the death of his late wife and wondered if it was the right time for him to step up but finally decided to speak up after 'severe slander of the deceased' by a couple of 'forces' hinting at Kim Soo Hyun, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, and her alleged ex-boyfriend "K".

He confirmed that they got married in January 2025, just three months after they met, but decided to annul their marriage as they realised their decision was made in haste and they had many issues, including long distance and different personalities.

Kim Sae Ron's husband denied the claims that he abused the late actress. He said that given the weak soundproofing in my apartment complex, any potential incident would have been reported by neighbours. Moreover, assault in America carries severe legal consequences, he added.

He revealed that he met Kim Sae Ron only four times between November 2024 and February 2025. If the allegations were true, it's unlikely she would have voluntarily visited him in America multiple times, he said, adding he made efforts to ensure her comfort during these visits.

"Regarding claims of physical abuse, I urge those making these allegations to release any evidence. I'm willing to cooperate with police investigations to clear my name," Kim Sae Ron's husband said.

He also clarified the situation regarding access to each other's phones and social media accounts. As a married couple in a long-distance relationship, he revealed that they chose to share passwords and other information to build trust.

Kim Sae Ron often used his phone to contact people, and they exchanged passwords and made promises to each other through direct messages. They were open with each other and shared everything without secrets.

"Whenever she was in America, she was always with me, and we shared everything with each other, without secrets. I am suspicious of how they portrayed this as me 'monitoring her moves,¡± but I think this is a mutually agreeable choice you can make as a couple. I can prove this with a written agreement we made as a couple," he added.

Kim Sae Ron's husband denied the claims that they married after her pregnancy, while also slamming the allegations that she aborted her child.

He also stated that he received threats from an anonymous person claiming to be Kim Sae Ron's cousin. The person reportedly asked him false questions, such as why he assaulted and blackmailed her to provoke him multiple times. The person reportedly stopped contacting them after he threatened them with legal action.

He concluded by urging Lee Jin Ho and others who have come forward to cease spreading alleged misinformation about the late star, seeking to put an end to the harmful rumours.
