It¡¯s not every day that a top tech billionaire praises an Indian startup online, and even rarer when it's for a baby product. But that's exactly what happened when OpenAI CEO Sam Altman took to X to give a big thumbs up to a smart crib designed by Bengaluru entrepreneur Radhika Patil. Now that's a proud moment!

What is Cradlewise?
Cradlewise was founded in 2016 by Radhika Patil and her husband, Bharath Patil.
The startup, which operates in both the U.S. and India, focuses on tech-based solutions to help babies (and parents!) sleep better.
The idea for their smart crib was first brought to life in Bengaluru. But aiming to launch it in the U.S. market, the couple moved there with their two kids during the pandemic.
Priced at about $1,999 in the U.S. and Rs 1.5 lakh in India, the crib comes with a built-in monitor, soothing music, and a gentle bouncing motion that activates when the baby stirs, helping calm them before they start crying.
It also adjusts as the baby grows, converting from a bassinet into a crib for toddlers up to two years old.
