Sachin Tendulkar Foundation appoints Sara Tendulkar as director of non-profit
Sachin Tendulkar announced that his daughter, Sara Tendulkar, has joined the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation as Director. Sara, 27, holds a Master¡¯s in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from UCL and will focus on empowering India through sports, healthcare, and education.
Sachin Tendulkar, the cricket legend, announced on Wednesday that his daughter Sara has been selected as the director of his non-profit.
"I¡¯m overjoyed to share that my daughter Sara Tendulkar has joined the @STF_India as Director," Tendulkar said in a social media post, sharing photos of Sara with children.
Sara Tendulkar, who turned 27 in October, earned a Master's degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London.
"As she embarks on this journey to empower India through sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle," her father said.
Sara Tendulkar attended school in Mumbai
Sara Tendulkar, who attended school in Mumbai, has a large fan base on the internet. She has more than 7.3 million Instagram followers. On Wednesday, she posted an Instagram Story with her brother Arjun from the Mumbai airport. "This is our first trip as siblings. Let us go," she wrote.
Last month, she spent time in a remote village near Udaipur. "What really stood out to me, beyond meeting the beautiful and inspiring women of the village, was their determination to train as nurses and social workers to serve and uplift their communities. It made me reflect on how even the smallest change can create a ripple effect and strengthen the entire village," she wrote in an Instagram post while sharing images from the trip.
