A mysterious gold-coloured chariot washed ashore at the Sunnapalli Sea Harbour in Srikakulam amid turbulence due to Cyclone Asani.
Amid massive turbulence during cyclone Asani, the residents of Andhra Pradesh found a mysterious gold-coloured chariot that washed ashore at the Sunnapalli Sea Harbour in Srikakulam.
At the sight of this mesmerising golden chariot being washed ashore by the ocean waves, the locals gathered together and dragged it out of the water with the help of ropes.
The sub-inspector (SI) of Naupada in the Srikakulam district said, "It might have come from another country. We have informed the intelligence and higher officials."

People on social media were amazed to see the gold-coloured chariot. Many even came up with several conspiracy theories as to who might have owned this and where it came from. One user said, "I guess it's from Myanmar. It looks like a boat from Phang daw oo pagoda festival."

Meanwhile, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD) recent statement, cyclone ¡®Asani¡¯ has weakened into a ¡®cyclonic storm¡¯ and is likely to turn into a depression by Thursday.
"It is very likely to move nearly northwards for next few hours and recurve slowly north-northeastwards along Narsapur, Yanam, Kakinada, Tuni and Visakhapatnam coasts during noon to evening on Wednesday, and emerge into the west-central Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh coasts by night,¡± the India Meteorological Department said in a bulletin.
Andhra Pradesh issued a 'red' warning for the coast. Nine teams of both SDRF and NDRF have been deployed for relief operations. The cyclone will likely move nearly northwestwards and reach the west-central Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh coast and the adjoining Odisha coast till the night of May 10.
This dangerous storm is expected to reach to Kakinada and Visakhapatnam coasts by Wednesday (May 11) morning and move along the Andhra Pradesh coast and weaken into a cyclonic storm.
