According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Vikas Mishra and Child Kumari from Saran district wanted to guide their guests towards understanding road safety and protected driving.
The reason behind this gesture was that the bride had lost her uncle in a street accident four years ago, and she had taken a vow to reward helmets to her wedding guests after the accident.
The couple added that they were very impressed by Sandeep Shahi from Delhi, who is popularly known as the Helmet Man. Shahi is a Delhi police constable and became famous when he began gifting helmets to site visitors violators.
Vikas told Dainik Bhaskar: ¡°As human beings, it¡¯s our responsibility to guard the lives that nature has given us. My spouse and I¡¯ve chosen to help the reason for making roads accident-free all our lives.¡±
Back in 2019, Shahi had gone viral on social media for spreading his message about the importance of wearing helmets after his spouse sustained serious injuries in a road accident.
