'Bolo Tara Ra Ra': Chandigarh Cop Sings Daler Mehndi-inspired 'No Parking' Song Without Skipping A Beat
Shared by a Twitter user named Gagan Khurana, the video shows the cop singing a song on a speaker while standing on one side of the road.
Even though traffic rules have got quite strict in India, many people are either not aware of them or simply don't care enough to follow them. Every day, even the most basic of traffic rules are broken. One can only imagine how difficult this makes a traffic cop's job.
Without skipping a beat and getting straight to the point, a cop in the capital of Punjab, Chandigarh, found a creative way to let people know about those traffic rules. And he used inspiration from famous singer Daler Mehndi to do so.

The lyrics of the song talk about the repercussions of parking in the wrong place. The cop appears to be directing vehicles while singing to them. Needless to say, this quirky way of teaching people about traffic rules was lauded by the internet and many praised the traffic cop for his method.
¡°Hahahaha. This is from Chandigarh. This paaji is very famous for singing songs with the same music but different lyrics,¡± commented a Twitter user. Another wrote, ¡°The random urge to come out of car and say ¡°tara ra ra ¡± with him.¡± ¡°It is actually so well sung that drivers may halt and listen rather than drive away,¡± wrote a third.

This is not the first time this cop has gone viral for his creative and quirky ways to help people know about traffic rules.
Back in 2019, this cop was recognised by the OG singer Daler Mehndi himself for his singing. Mehendi had shared the video of the cop on his handle too with the caption, "I am glad that my music is used by Traffic police to inspire people to follow rules. Happiness Means Daler Mehndi Celebration Means Daler Mehndi Thank you for your love and Support."

Other than that, as you already know parking your vehicle at undesignated parking spots on the sides of the road may attract fines or result in your car being towed away. Different states have different fines for parking vehicles in undesignated areas. The fines start from Rs 500 and can go up to Rs 2000.
