Diljit Dosanjh kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour in style on Saturday in Delhi. On Saturday, October 26, the Amar Singh Chamkila actor appeared in front of a full auditorium at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Diljit proudly waved the Tricolour, setting the tone for the concert. Fan pages loyal to the actor posted photos from the concert on X handles.
What did Diljit Dosanjh do at the Delhi concert?
In one video, Diljit is heard exclaiming, "Ye mera desh, mera ghar hai (this is my country, this is my home)!" The show did not begin at the planned hour, leaving fans dissatisfied. Diljit compensated for the delay as soon as he entered centre stage.
Before his concert in the capital, Diljit went to the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara to seek blessings. Team Dosanjh uploaded an Instagram video of the singer donning an all-denim suit with a crimson turban.
The video shows him entering the Gurdwara. Diljit is shown bending and praying with his hands folded. The caption for the post simply said, "BANGLA SAHIB." They used Diljit's song Aar Nanak Paar Nanak as the background music in the post.
