Can A Tarot Card Reading Predict If I Can Avoid The Chaos Of Gurugram Traffic? Here's What I Found Out
What do you suppose a Tarot card reader does when she¡¯s stuck in a jam? She obviously misuses every inch of her knowledge to avoid it.
Anyone travelling to Gurugram for work knows that traffic is their only enemy. Beating the morning rush is honestly on the Christmas lists of many Gurgaon employees. Just one day of respite from perpetually incubating in a car is a dream many are hoping comes true.

Putting Tarot To Test! Can A Deck Of Cards Predict If I Can Avoid The Chaos Of Gurugram Traffic?
With my quest clear, I embarked on a crucial journey. Sitting with my trustee Tarot deck, I asked the pressing question: Will I encounter any traffic tomorrow?
On a normal day, it takes me 30 to 40 minutes to cover a 10- to 15-min route. Not that bad compared to the others who take an hour or two to get to work. Give me an excuse to test the limits of a Tarot deck and I am in.
My prediction a day before was based on a pretty heavy tarot spread. The four initial cards all ¡°happen¡± to be major arcana, which made me question the whole thread of my intentions with the spread.
From the looks of it, the cards had a lot to do with me and less to do with the unpredictable Delhi-NCR traffic. The Hermit card told me loud and clear that I will not be encountering a jam on the road. Given the calmness of The Hermit, the situation was sure to stay under control, at least in my head.
The Prediction Came Out To Be Partially Right
Were the cards right? Yes, traffic was on the low and my head was definitely under control. The Magician accompanying the Two of Swords clearly pointed to me running into a sudden speed bump. But at the time I perceived the problem to be a common tractor jamming a turn, something that often happens on my side of the fence, in Gurgaon. What I could not predict was that my car would turn out to be my speed bump.
Staying in line with my prediction, a sudden problem did pop up and it was my car breaking down. The prediction wasn't on the nose, but close because the problem was solved rather quickly.
To test Tarot even further, I did the exact same spread a second time with a different deck to see what answers I'd get this time.
What was curious about the 10 cards that flew out of the second deck were the repeaters. Three out of the ten cards were the same as in the first spread. The Two of Cups came out in both spreads as clarifiers. To add to that, the Six of Cups popped up in both spreads with the Knight of Swords. Given that both the decks have 78 cards each, the repeating cards were definitely spooky even for a Tarot reader.
