A viral video from an MBA class at FMS College in Udaipur shows a student arguing with a professor, and boasting about his wealthy father's connections before spitting on the floor as he left. The incident has ignited discussions on whether privilege excuses disrespectful behavior.
Indians and their attitude of "Jaanta hai mera baap kaun hai" often go hand in hand. Recently, a viral video of a student in a Rajasthan college expressing similar sentiments has taken social media by storm, prompting many to ask, "Does having money and connections automatically excuse you from basic manners?"

According to various reports, the viral video is from an MBA e-commerce class at FMS College, Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
In the footage, a student strolls into class a 40 minutes late, making his way to his seat without seeking permission from the professor.
When the faculty reprimanded him, Kaif erupted in anger, confronting the instructor and hurling threats.
In a display of arrogance, he boasted about his father's wealth, claiming that if his father wished, he could construct four more colleges like theirs.
When confronted about his behavior, Kaif insisted he hadn't misbehaved and added that his father "used to sit with the collector."
After this confrontation, he stormed out of the classroom, and spat on the floor on his way out.
Following the incident, Dr. Meera Mathur, the director of FMS College, filed a complaint against the student at the Pratapnagar police station.
How did people respond?
"Ah yes, the age-old 'Mere baap collector hain' excuse because money and connections automatically exempt you from basic manners, right? Wonder if the collector's friendship includes a crash course in decency. Spitting in class, though? Truly a new low," one commenter remarked.
Another pointed out the broader implications: "This isn't just an isolated incident, it's part of a much bigger problem. Those in power often believe they can do whatever they want without facing any consequences. If he can act like this in a classroom, imagine how he treats those he considers beneath him."
A third observer noted, "Money and power may buy influence, but respect? That's earned. Spitting your way through life won't get you far, my friend."
