Abhinav Arora, a 10-year-old "Bal Sant baba" recently responded to criticism about his spiritual videos, expressing sadness over online trolling and clarifying incidents from his past. Amid backlash, largely directed at his parents for allegedly pushing him into a role for financial gain, Abhinav has filed a complaint against seven YouTubers for questioning his devotion.
When you watch 10-year-old 'Bal Sant Bab' Abhinav Arora deliver his spiritual talks, it's hard not to question their authenticity¡ªit feels staged. While he has been doing his videos on Instagram since quite some time, they have been popping up more frequently of recent, drawing the attention of a larger audience. Most criticise what they see as an orchestrated act, with much of the backlash directed at his parents for seemingly pushing a young child into a role he might not fully understand, especially one tied to earning money. Now, Abhinav himself has responded to the critics and online trolls.
In a new viral video, 10-year-old Abhinav Arora shares his thoughts in an interview with ANI, expressing sadness over the backlash he's received online.

He says, "Pichle Diwali mai bohot khush tha kyuki Ramji ne mujhe apne ghar bulaya tha, maine apni aakho se deepotsav dekha tha aur aap sabko bhi deepotsav dikhaya tha. Diwali toh khushiyan manane aur baantne ka naam hai. Lekin iss Diwali inn trollers aur YouTubers ne meri khushiyan cheen li." (Last Diwali, I was very happy because Ramji invited me to his home, and I witnessed the Deepotsav with my own eyes and shared it with all of you. Diwali is a time to spread and celebrate happiness, but this Diwali, these trolls and YouTubers have taken away my joy.)
He adds, "Par koi baat nahi, aap sabko Diwali ki hardik shubhkaamnaye." (But no worries¡ªwishing you all a very happy Diwali).
Arora also addressed a controversy involving Swami Rambhadracharya, when he was asked to leave the stage during one of Swami's sessions.
He explains, "Mai tab 8-9 saal ka tha, aur mujhe manch ki garima nahi pata thi ki yaha par chup rehna hai, aur maine Ramji ke naam ka jaykara laga diya tha, jisse manch ki garima bhang ho gayi thi. Arey, 8-9 saal k bacche se toh galti ho hi sakti hai.¡± (I was only 8 or 9 then, and I didn't understand the dignity of the stage¡ªthat I needed to stay quiet. I shouted Ramji's name, which disrupted the stage decorum. At that age, mistakes can happen.)
Meanwhile, Indian journalist and men's rights activist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj posted, "If a kid in my family talked like that in this age I would first put him into a speech therapy before anything else. What's wrong with the parents of this boy?"

In response to intense trolling, Abhinav has taken legal action, filing a complaint with the UP court against seven YouTubers on Monday.
In a conversation with NDTV, he said, "Dekhiye main chahta toh nahi tha kachehri me YouTubers ke khilaf case karna lekin mujhe karna pad raha hai." ("I didn't want to file a case against these YouTubers, but I had no choice.")
He further added, "Meri bhakti ko nakli kaha ja raha hai. Pehle woh mazak mazak me karte the toh hume lagta tha kuch view hi kama rahe hain, kuch kaam hi kar rahe hain¡toh mujhe fark nahi padta tha. Lekin baat ab meri bhakti ki aagai hai. Meri bhakti ko nakli kaha ja raha hai." ("My devotion is being called fake. At first, they joked about it, and I thought they were just trying to get views, so it didn't bother me. But now they're questioning my devotion. They're calling it fake.")
How did people respond?
The comments made it clear that people¡¯s frustration is largely directed at Abhinav's parents.
One user remarked that the child probably doesn't even realise the path his parents have put him on, while another bluntly stated, "it's all about money."
He¡¯s just saying rehearsed lines his parents taught him. Poor kid doesn¡¯t even realize the dark path his parents are leading him down.
