The idol-actress and Hometown Cha Cha Cha heartthrob earlier shared the screen space in the 2020 slice-of-life K-drama Start-Up. While their characters did not end up together, their undeniable chemistry left fans asking for more.

Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol were initially cast as the leads for Delusional, with the announcement made on March 6, 2024. However, their public separation on March 30, 2024, led to a change in plans. The co-production company, Showbox, revealed to SPOTV News that they had put the production on hold due to the complicated situation surrounding the lead actors.

Furthermore, the company stated that they are considering recasting the main roles, likely due to the potential awkwardness and tension that could arise from having a newly separated couple play romantic leads.
What was the Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol drama?
For those who may not know, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol's brief romance ended abruptly after just half a month of dating. The couple's relationship took a messy turn when the Reply 1988 star's ex-girlfriend Lee Hyeri's name was dragged into the situation. Following the criticism of cheating on Ryu's part and the My Name fame being called a homewrecker, the duo announced their breakup on March 30.
