If you needed any proof whether children are our future and whether it will be bright, look no further.
Say hello to supremely intelligent and wise 7th graders that held a brilliant protest without violence, shouting, screaming or abuses. These 7th graders staged a protest because the principal of their school denied their humble request of providing free tampons in their school bathrooms.
My friend¡¯s 7th grader goes to a school where the kids organized for free tampons in the bathroom. The male principle said no because they would ¡°abuse the privilege.¡± The kids decided to stage a cookie protest. Behold the tampon cookies! pic.twitter.com/jz2KtbhOhS

First off, female hygiene products are expensive. And if the school can bear a certain cost to provide a limited number of tampons for the girls, then these expensive products can be accessible to even those who can't afford it. That's why such a request was made in the first place. But the principal rejected the request and cited "abuse of privilege" as the reason.
This principal really needs to take a biology class or get out of his head and speak to someone who has periods about how important tampons and sanitary napkins are. What privilege will these girls abuse? I mean girls don't want to have periods just for the fun of it right?
While we don't know how the principal or other school authorities reacted, people on Twitter seemed to have love the idea. See their reactions below.
¡°Abuse the privilege?¡± Does he think you can smoke tampons to get high?
